Her academic background includes studies in economics, public policy, American history, education, business administration, and leadership at institutions including the University of the West Indies, University of Notre Dame, Andrews University, and Bethel University.
A former national field hockey player for Trinidad, Karen's journey also reflects a strong foundation in discipline, teamwork, resilience, achievement, and personal excellence.
